Sir Peter Blake Comes to Bath!
Very Special Event
Friday 26 th February from 5:30 to 7.30pm
This is a brand new exhibition of Blake's most recent iconic prints available to buy. Includes The Second Real Target 25 years later, a re-working of one of his most famous paintings.
Best known for designing the sleeve for The Beatles Sergeant Peppers album, Sir Peter Blake,
who for a time lived near Bath, is still much in demand more than 40 years later.
He now returns to bath on the CCA Art bus, a customized double-decker which has been converted into a unique gallery space complete with balcony and bar. The exterior of the bus, designed by Sir Peter dazzles with rock & roll pop art style and has already been appreciated by a host of famous visitors including Kevin Spacey, Helen Mirren and David Tennant.
Sir Peter Blake himself will be hosting the bus on the afternoon of Friday 26th February, which will be parked at the top of Milsom Street, 200 meters from his solo show at Rostra & Rooksmoor Galleries.
This event will be popular so please contact the gallery in advance to request invitations or evening bus passes.
