AMANDA HOSKIN

Amanda Hoskin lives and works in Cornwall where the varied landscape and coastline provide a constant source of inspiration. The frequent changes in the weather and their effect on the landscape are a subject that interests Amanda Deeply.


After finishing art school she becamea freelance wildlife illustrator. However working and living in London she began to miss Cornwall and so in the early 90's she became a sailing instructor teaching mainly at Mylor on the beautiful Fal Estuary. During this time she continued to paint changing the medium from watercolours to oils. Her style became much freer and she began to concentrate on the changing skies and landcapes around her.


Amanda has only been painting full time for the last few years, however she has already established herself as one of the leading landscape artists in Cornwall with a growing following around the country.
