Clare graduated from the University of Loughborough in 2000 with a BA Hons in Textile design and currently resides in Bristol, United Kingdom. The inspiration for Clare's work comes from everyday situations, for instance domestic appliances, a walk in the park or the buildings that surround her. Within each design pattern, colour plays an important part, adding depth and decoration to build an aesthetically pleasing overall effect. As well as working on traditional fabric surfaces for fashion and interior markets, Clare has expanded into ceramics and furniture. All Clare's designs are hand printed, producing truly unique, one off originals. Clare has recently completed her MA in multi-disciplinary printmaking at the Universty of the West of England, where she has broadened her skills and taken her work to new levels.
