ABOUT ROSTRA & ROOKSMOOR GALLERIES

In April 2005, long established Rooksmoor Gallery moved from residential Brock Street to the bright lights of George Street, to join its more contemporary younger sister, Rostra Gallery.

Combined, Rostra and Rooksmoor Galleries have well over 20 years history as a leading westcountry independent art gallery. We have an outstanding reputation for excellent service and showcasing a diverse range of artworks. We continue to source an exciting array of artists and are well loved for our successful blend of high quality fine art within a friendly atmosphere.

You will find us a very welcoming exhibition space and encourage you to browse our collection of contemporary art.

We are the exclusive supplier of CCA prints in the Bath area.

A gallery since the 1970’s, the previous occupiers were Christie’s Contemporary Art who Rostra and Rooksmoor Galleries maintain a first-rate relationship with holding a large collection of their archive and newly published Limited Edition Prints.

THE STAFF

Both galleries are staffed and owned by Emma Birts, Verity James and Amy Kennedy. We all hold art degrees and between us have over 15 years of experience working in galleries.
